Lettie Oxendine Obituary

Lettie Mae Blue Oxendine, 80, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 8, 2024 with her family by her side.

Lettie Mae was born in Robeson County, March 10, 1944, a daughter of the late Marvin Lee Blue and Annie Lee Dial Blue. In 1966, Lettie Mae moved to High Point and worked at various furniture, retiring from Royal Development. She loved going to the beach, gardening, cooking and creating arts and crafts. Lettie Mae loved going to church! She was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Godwin, Clemma Harden, Tony Blue, Stanley Blue and Carol Blue; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Oxendine.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Nathaniel Oxendine; four children, Kenny Ray Oxendine and his wife Lillian, James Ray Oxendine, Elizabeth Oxendine and her husband Lendale and Marie Spring and her husband Jerry; five grandchildren, Chris, Marcus, Jeffrey, Adrian and Keoina; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Marvin Junior Blue, Jackie Ray Blue and Robert Blue; and "adopted" children, Dean Maynard and Anne Oxendine and a host of great friends. 

Services were held at Evergreen Holiness Church on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2pm followed by a burial at Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
