Ms. Lessie Mae Ledwell 82 of 12100 Cameron Way, Maxton, NC departed this life on January 27, 2026, at Morrison Manor Hospice in Laurinburg, NC.
She is preceded in death by her father Ranford Oxendine, her mother Pearlie Oxendine, her six sisters, two brothers, one grandson, and one great-grandson.
She is survived by her six loving children Denise Mercer, Mary Oxendine (Ronald), Willie Oxendine, Daniel and Glory Ledwell, Jerry Lee and Cora Ledwell, and Jessica Oxendine; three siblings William Oxendine, Elwood Oxendine, and Letha Bartley; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
