Mr. Leon Carr Locklear, 75, of George and Molly Road, Pembroke, NC, was born on June 25, 1946, and departed this life on January 4, 2022, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Rockingham. He is preceded in death by his parents George Albert and Veola Locklear; two brothers Albert Lee Locklear and James Junior Locklear; one sister Shirlene Locklear Briggs and one daughter Heather Lynn Locklear.
Mr. Locklear is survived by his wife Annette Rose Locklear of the home; four sons, Patrick Carr Locklear, John Eric (Mingo) Locklear, Brandon Sampson Locklear, and Leon Carr Locklear II; four daughters Sheila Ann Locklear, Alicia Ann Locklear, Amber Lee Locklear and Nakiyah Diamond Locklear; three brothers, James Albert Locklear, Marvin George Locklear, and Scottie Lynn Locklear; three sisters, Peggie Jean Locklear, Dora Lee Locklear, Veanna Locklear-Christian, Dewanna Deese; grandchildren, Christian Jerrad Locklear, Shamya Scott, Jalen Scott, Noah G. Locklear, Noel G. Locklear, and Kevin J. Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.
