Lee Allen Lowry, 55, of 987 Old Main Road, Pembroke, was born July 10, 1965 and departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2021. He is preceded in death by his brother, James Garnie Lowry, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Sandy Allen and Goldie Lowery; his paternal grandparents, James Lee and Etta Lowry; his aunt Annie Ruth Maynor; his uncles, William Brant, George Allen and Bobby Allen Lowery; and cousin, Lisa Marie Lowry.
Lee Allen was a very energetic and fun-loving man. He worked in construction by trade, he started working right out high school working as an industrial painter with his father, then worked with his Uncle Sandy Allen for a time and was even able to work with his brother Garnie, Jr. He was currently working with his long time friend Terry Pate.
Lee Allen’s true pride was in his only daughter Pearl. On Friday, June 2nd he was so happy to see her graduate from high school. He loved his family, his mother, father, sister, cousins and his many nieces and nephews and they loved him. Uncle Lee was always the fun one at all the gatherings. Lee had many friends, and for those who knew him as a friend he was always “loyal”. He will truly be missed!!
He leaves to cherish his memories Aleiah Pearl Lowry, his daughter; his parents, James Garnie Lowry, Sr. and Annie Pearl Lowry of Pembroke; two sisters, India (Clinton) Lowry of Pembroke and Donna (Robert) Bowen of Wilson, NC; his nephews Nash Allen, Koda, James Garnie Lowry, III and nieces Tala Lowry, Jillian Baker, Crystal and Jessica Bowen. His special Uncle and Aunts, Stanford and Marie Lowry; and Joan Lowry; Uncles Tyrone and Sandy Allen Lowry, Jr.; several other nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
