Larry and a friend purchased, repaired and painted an old bus with their favorite drivers, Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon on the side. They drove the bus to the races for several years. Larry was a family man. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved attending family reunions each year where many stories were told of him and his older brothers in their childhood days. Some of the stories he would tell were just as funny as the first time it was told. Larry was also involved in Little League for several years. Larry would help coach and always made sure the team had snacks and drinks. He loved people and never met a stranger. If you were a friend of Larry’s, you had a real genuine friend for life.
