Kimberly Carol Wynn

Kimberly Carol Wynn, 61, departed this life on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Kim was born in Lumberton, NC on December 6, 1961.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold B. Wynn; her paternal grandparents, Chief Wynn and Lummie M. Wynn; and her maternal grandparents, James Permey Bell and Corena B. Bell.

Kim leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Janet B. Wynn; her brother, Jeffrey Wynn and sister-in-law Daphne Wynn; her niece, Jaelyn Wynn all of Lumberton; her nephew, John B. Wynn (Juliana) of Cary; her best friend, Robin Emanuel; and a host of family and friends.

Education was instilled in Kim at a very young age, as her father was a teacher and Assistant Principal. She graduated from Magnolia High School in 1980 and attended Brigham Young University shortly after graduation. She transferred to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a degree in Biology in 1985. After graduation, Kim worked in research at Stanford University in California. Kim later decided to attend Physician Assistant School and graduated from Wake Forest University in 1994. Kim worked in various roles as a PA in her community and outlying communities. Her hobbies included reading, trips to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
