Kele Akeem Sanderson (Kas) was born October 18, 1988, to James Kelly Sanderson and Rhonda Sue Johnson. His father and his grandparents the late Rev. Kelly and Brenda Sanderson raised him. Kas entered into his forever home on January 25, 2026, completing his journey of 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his sister Jamie Oxendine and brother James R. Sanderson, his paternal grandmother Ernie Britt, and his maternal grandmother Susan Oxendine.

Kas is survived by his father James Kelly and wife Linda Sanderson of the home, one son Kaeden Alexander Sanderson, two brothers: James Kelly and Kelly Ray Sanderson, three sisters: Margaret Sanderson, Victoria Locklear, and Jolanda Cardona, his fraternal great-grandmother Margaret Norton, three uncles: Kelly Keith Sanderson Jr., Johnny and Donnie Ray Norton, three cousins: Kelly Keith Sanderson III, Danny Carver, and Kenny Carver, special great-uncle Bobby Oxendine, very special cousin Jerry and Robbie Sanderson, special neighbors Doren, Bobbie, and Ethan Jones, and a host of family and friends.
