Keedon Lewis Obituary
Keedon Lewis, also known as “FatMan”, 16, of Lumberton, where he resided with his mother, but well known throughout Prospect and Rowland community, was born on April 6, 2009, and entered his eternal home on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lessie and Albert Lewis of Rowland, Joyce and Robert White, of Pembroke, Mary Helen Hunt and Danny Hunt of Lumberton, his Aunt Tiffany Hunt and cousin Braedyn Hunt of Maxton.
Keedon was an 11th grade student at Purnell Swett High School where he was known for his humorous, enthusiastic, and clever personality as well as a soul that emphasized such selflessness that he left a mark in every persons life he met. He had a deep love for hunting and fishing where he found peace and could be in an environment that characterized part of who he was. Keedon also loved riding anything with wheels, singing his heart out and giving that old truck of his a run for its money.
Keedon’s faith reflected through his acts of kindness and aligning his daily actions with spiritual values. He kept his Bible open in his nightstand where he would read God’s word daily, reflect, and write his own personal notes. In the presence of the Lord, he reminds us to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
He leaves behind his loving family, including his parents, Keesha Renee Jacobs and Brandon Lewis, step-father, Brian Jacobs, two siblings, Camryn Lindsey, and Bryson Lewis, step-brother, Forest Jacobs, grandparents, Leanie and Billie Lewis, Carol and Johnny Locklear, Betty Jo Hunt, aunts and uncles, Telisha and Adrian Jacobs, Lauren and Marcus White, Johnna and Chris Lowery, Corey Locklear, cousins, Christian Lowery, Braxtyn Hunt, Deja Oxendine, Lakota Locklear, Brayden Locklear, Kyleigh White, Everleigh Cummings, and a host of family and friends.
