Karl Jones

Mr. Karl Jones, 30, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023.

    Mr. Jones leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Sally Wydler of Lumberton; his father, Allen Jones, of Lumberton; his sisters, Carmilita Smith of Shallotte, and Tracey Smith of Lumberton; two brothers, Will Smith (Daphne) and Josh Ray, of Lumberton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

    Karl was a traveler. He wanted to see the world. He would travel by jet, train, bus, subway, and car.  He visited about 35 states. He lived briefly in Las Vegas, Miami, and visited Hollywood. He lived for 1½ years in Washington, DC.

    Karl truly without a doubt loved his mother and father very much. Even when he made mistakes in his short life, he knew he would always have love and respect from them. Karl was extremely special, truly unique.

    God loved Karl; we loved Karl. He will never be forgotten, and he will always be missed until the end of time.

    Only God knows who among us will receive a special blessing, then be given an eternal home in heaven. 

    Karl or anyone will not have to sleep in front of the Pearly gates of heaven. If blessed, he will be walking on the streets of Gold Forever.   AMEN
