Mr. Julius Lowry, 88, was born April 1, 1932 to the late Katie Lee and Joseph Archie Lowry. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at home.
Mr. Julius was preceded in death by his parents, Katie and Joseph Archie Lowry; his wife, Vera V. Lowry; his son, Barry D. Lowry; two brothers, Kenneth O. Lowry and Donald T. Lowry.
He is survived by his daughters, Pamela K. (Allen) Summers of Cullman, Alabama, Deborah (John) Wright of Aberdeen, NC, Denise (Nelson) Wheeler of Round Rock, Texas, Sherrie L. (Michael) Grant of Jacksonville, FL, and Belinda G. (Jimmy) Lee of Newton Grove, NC; four grandchildren, Walter Sanderson, Brandon (Cassandra) Hunt, Travis Lighty, and Chelsi (Jon) Call; four great grandchildren, Mikah Hunt, Julius M. Sanderson, Savannah V. Sanderson, and Mya D. Hunt; six sisters, Katherine Walker of Hixson, Tennessee, Mary L. Lowry of Shallotte, NC, Brenda L. Carter of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Sarah L. Jacobs of Pembroke, NC, Susan A. Lowry of Charlotte, NC, and Carol L. Peace of Gainesville, Florida; three brothers, J. Archie Lowry, David Lowry, and Jonathan Lowry all of Pembroke, NC; along with many nieces and nephews.
