Mr. Johnnie Locklear Jr., 78, of Henry Berry Road Rowland, NC was born on January 21, 1943 to the late Mr. Johnnie C. Locklear and Mrs. Mary Cattie Barton Locklear. He departed his earthly life on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at Moore Regional Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Homer Locklear, Roy Locklear, Donald Ray Locklear and Arnold Ray Locklear; two sisters, Diane Locklear Sanderson and Suzanne Oxendine.
Mr. Johnnie Locklear Jr. is survived by his wife, Genner Lee Locklear; his children, John Chris Locklear (Amy) and Jeanine Bryant; five grandchildren, Malachi Christian Locklear, Darrell Austin Bryant, Jenna Bryant, John Isaac Locklear and Aidan Lee Locklear; three great grandchildren, Riley Christian Locklear, Spencer Nash Locklear and Darrell Brylon Bryant; siblings, Juanita Locklear, Patsy Faye Strickland, Tommie Locklear, Marshall Locklear, Mary Rose Locklear, William "Snorton" Locklear, and Cathy Locklear; along with a host of relatives and friends.
