John Gary Campbell

John Gary Campbell, age 70, gained his heavenly wings on Saturday March 9th, 2024, in the comfort of his own home. Gary was born on September 19th, 1953, of the late Rev. J.W. Campbell and Betty L. Campbell. Aside from his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his siblings: Robin Dale Bowen and Thomas Larry Campbell, two children son John G. Campbell Jr. (Buddy) and daughter Tonya Michelle Campbell.

He is survived by his partner Helen Jacobs, siblings Joann Hopper (Kevin), Terry Campbell, and Peter Campbell. Children: Bobbie J. Hunt, Christopher Oxendine (Amber) Brandy Collins (Patrick), Billy Campbell and Stepdaughter Hannah Jones. Grandchildren: Constance Oxendine (Sunshine), Nicole Campbell, Kristy Hunt, Serenity Collins, John Collins, Nathaniel Oxendine, Kayson Oxendine, as well as seven great grandchildren.

Gary is also survived by a close family friend Tony D. Oxendine. Although you all share many memories with Gary, he will be remembered most for his ability to light up any room he entered, bringing a smile to everyone's face, and the way he cheered on the ones he loved most. Gary will be sincerely missed; however, his spirit and name will carry on.
