Obituary
Mr. John B. Locklear Jr., 90, of 701 Back Swamp Rd., Lumberton, NC was born in Robeson County to the late John B. and Aggie H. Locklear. He departed his earthly home on May 10th, 2023.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Locklear was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Hardin Locklear; daughter, Gwendolyn Sue Smith; sisters, Frances L. Scott, Elseyon Locklear, and Geraldine Hunt; and brothers, Carlton Locklear and Dwight Locklear.
Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memories one son, Stephen Locklear; twelve grandchildren; one sister, Janice Graham of Lumberton; four brothers, Gilbert Locklear (Maxine) of Baltimore, MD, Douglas Locklear (Margie), Kenneth Locklear both of Shannon, and Stanton Locklear of Rowland; a special brother-in-law Horace Hardin of Lumberton; a host of nieces and nephews.
