Joann Scott, 67, of Maxton, NC departed this life on May 7, 2021 at Laurinburg Hospice. Ms. Scott was born June 27, 1953.
Ms. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Roosevelt and Anna Brayboy Scott; brothers, Rev. Ronald Scott, Alton Scott, Vonnie Scott, Raymond Scott, and Billy Ray Scott; sisters, Cathy Chavis, Patsy Jacobs, and Janice Laviner.
Surviving are one daughter, Cora Ann Scott of Maxton; three grandchildren, Joshlynn Locklear, Jaylen Locklear, and Jaxston Locklear all of Maxton; brother, Bertie Bullard (Barbara) of Maxton; sisters, Betty Jacobs, Reedy Jacobs (Roger), and Carol Scott all of Maxton.
