Mr. Jesse Charles “Tom” Ivey of 50 Delicate Dr. Lumberton, NC was born in Robeson County on September 3rd, 1945 to the late Douglas and Louvenia Ivey. He was a dedicated Truck Driver of 37 years.
He departed from his earthly home on May 17th, 2023. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ivey was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Jr. Ivey.
Mr. Ivey leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 37 years, Gwendal Ivey; two sisters, Mary Neil Sealey of NMB and Denise Ivey of NMB; his four sons, Zachary Ivey (Aleasha) of Lumberton, NC; Charlie Ivey (Elizabeth) of Memphis, TN; Carl David Ivey of Rowland, NC; George Ivey (Karese) of Rowland, NC; two godsons, Anthony McKenith (Brandi) of Fairbluff, NC and Elvis Carter of Fairbluff, NC; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eleven god-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
