Jerry Chavis Obituary
Mr. Jerry Chavis, 62, was born on October 8, 1958 to Rev. William and Effie Chavis and passed away at Southeastern Regional Hospital on Friday April 9, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Effie Chavis and a brother, Larry Chavis.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Lucy Chavis; one son, Jerry Clay Chavis of the home; two daughters, Frances Locklear (Victor) and Chenoa Pate of Laurel Hill; a granddaughter/daughter, Katina Fay Chavis (Brandon); one brother, Ronnie Chavis (Denise) of Pembroke; three sisters, Betty Johnson (Anthony) of Pembroke, Kathy Hunt of Pembroke, and Darlene Mansfield (Perry) of South Port; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; along with a host of relatives and friends. He was so loved by many and he will be truly missed.
