Mr. Jerry Lee Callahan Sr., 79, of Lumberton, NC passed away Wednesday April 17, 2024. He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 30, 1944 to the late Albert & Louise Callahan.
Jerry enjoyed working as a lineman for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillie Mae Hoppe; and four brothers, Edward “Ed” Callahan, Laverne Callahan, William “Bill” Callahan and Richard Callahan.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Glenda Mae Callahan; his children, Jerry Lee Callahan Jr. (Glenda), Sebrena Hammonds (Jamie), Michael “Pee Wee” Callahan, Rodney Callahan, and Steven Callahan (Amanda); eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; four sisters, Linda Faye Callahan, Gail Little, Wanda Barton, and Lisa Michelle Oxendine; two brothers, Ronald “Curley” Callahan (Geneva), and Sammy Callahan; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and family.
