James Dial Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mr. James Thomas (J.T.) Dial of Maxton on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the age of 80 years old.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Mrs. Carol Hunt Dial; a selfless and beautiful daughter, Mrs. Teresa Dial Collins; his precious mama, Mrs. Jessie Lee Dial and his father, Mr. George Dial.
James will be lovingly remembered by his children, Johnny (Medra), Carol Ann (Joseph), Kim, Terry and Christy; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Dial Locklear and Mrs. Janice Dial Jones, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Mr. Dial started working in drywall as a young man and became very successful and well known for his work ethics and quality work. Mr. Dial and his brother, Mr. Bobby Dial founded the company, Dial's Drywall and employed many over their 30 year partnership. Mr. Dial had a huge heart and loved his family.
