Mr. James Belton Locklear aka (Black or Choc) age 56 of 4587 N. Chicken Road, Pembroke, North Carolina was born October 20, 1969, and departed this life on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC.
James is survived by his wife Marla Locklear of 31 years; a son Jacob Locklear and a daughter Mariah “Bush” Locklear; his parents Dexter and Geneva Locklear, sister Annette Hunt, two brothers Dexter Locklear Jr. (Brenda) and Jamie Locklear (Twynette), along with two special cousins/brothers Donald Gene (Sondra) and Darrell Franklin Locklear (LaNette) and a host of nieces and nephews accompanied by a special bonus of grandchildren who all meant the world to him.
