James Locklear

God peacefully and lovingly called James Lee Locklear from his earthly home to his heavenly home on September 21, 2022. Mr. James Lee Locklear was born on October 29, 1941, to his parents, Katie Locklear, and Johnny Jacobs.

   James loved and cared for his family so much. He loved to tell jokes and stories to make others laugh. He loved the Duke basketball team, the Dallas Cowboys football team, Nascar racing, fishing, Walker Texas Ranger, and watching Westerns. He loved roofing, which he excelled at for more than 50 years. He also enjoyed scratch off tickets.

   James was preceded in death by his parents, Katie Locklear, and Johnny Jacobs; brothers, Carvey Locklear, Joseph Jones, Bobby Locklear, Paul Locklear, Earl Locklear, Tommy Locklear, and Robert Earl Jacobs Sr.; sisters, Mary Hammonds, Mrita Locklear Lacey, and Joyce Locklear; son, Frankie Moore; and daughter, Tammy Moore.

   He leaves to cherish his memories to his children, Jaime Lee Locklear of the home, Randleman, NC, Debbie White of Gibsonville, NC, and Angela Snyder of Stoneville, NC, Michael Crawford of FL; four sisters, Kay Jacobs (Glenn Jacobs) of Lumberton, NC, Jerrie Bell of Fairmont, NC, Lizzie Lewis (Timothy Lewis) of Lumberton, NC, Nellie Maynor of Lumberton, NC; two brothers, Everette Jones of Spring Hope, NC, Samuel Locklear of Greensboro, NC; and a host of relatives and friends who loved him.
