James Oxendine Obituary

Mr. James Lloyd Oxendine, 61, son of Robert Oxendine Jr. and Gussie Oxendine was born May 24, 1959 in Robeson county. He worked at Charles Kraft. He enjoyed watching wrestling and watching the Shepherd’s Chapel. He loved the Lord and his family. He attended Purvis Independent Baptist Church, when he was able. He passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David “Mamie” Oxendine and his son in law, Darrel Wayne Blue.

He is survived by his wife of 39 year, Sheila Mae Oxendine of the home; one son, Jonathon Lloyd Oxendine and wife Terra; one daughter, Christina Ward and husband Ryan; grandkids, Destiny Mae Blue, Mason Lloyd Oxendine, Ryalon Ward, Landon Ward; step grandkids, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Jarrad; step great grandkids, Austin; brothers, Leroy (Peggy), Danny (Grace), Fred (Betty Jo), and Herman (Helen); sisters, Tessie Clark, Betty Ann (Wayne), and Yvonne (Ken); and special friends of the family, Terasa, Sheana, Donnie, and Gale Head.
