Mr. James Locklear was born January 12, 1956, and departed this life January 11, 2025. He was also known as “Scratch” or “Pops”. He was a very supportive and providing individual. He loved to make you laugh and would encourage you to shoot for the stars.
He was preceded in death by his father Walter Lee Locklear, his mother Violet Locklear and his brother Walter Jr. Locklear, along with his stepsons: Ricky Henderson and Micky Henderson.
He leaves behind his brother Mitchell Locklear, his niece Makayla Joyce Locklear, great-nephew Kayslin Locklear, and a very special friend Sarah Jane Henderson. He also leaves behind four stepchildren: Flora Burns, Rhonda Henderson, Nick Jr. Henderson and Nicole Henderson, eight grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
