James Jacobs Obituary
Mr. James Jacobs, 78, of Lumberton was born on August 15, 1943, in Robeson County and departed this life on April 5, 2022, at his home. Mr. James was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church where he served the Lord all his life.
He is preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Mcpherson, Shelby Locklear, and Barbara Jones; three brothers, Donald Jacobs, Ray Jacobs, Leonard Jacobs; parents, Grady, and Della Jacobs.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Diana Jones and son in law, Terry Jones; grandson, David Wayne Jacobs, and wife; two brothers of the home, Grady Jacobs, Jr., Earl Jacobs; one sister, Jackie Jacobs all of Lumberton. He also leaves behind eleven great grandkids; and one special love, Bonnie Fields of the home; and a host of relatives and friends.
