Obituary
Mr. James Hunt, 92, of Lumberton, NC, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 23rd, 2022. He was born in Columbus County on April 23, 1930, to the late Plummer Hunt Sr and Nolar Hunt.
He is preceded in death by his wife of seventy years Louise Hunt, two sisters Maebelle Lowery and Gladys Hunt of Virginia, one brother Plummer Hunt Jr. of Lumberton, a grandson James Ray Hunt Jr of Lumberton, and a great granddaughter Sky Lynn Hunt.
He is survived by two sons Tony (Wanda) Hunt of Pembroke and James Ray Hunt of Lumberton; five grandchildren Brian (Doreen) Hunt, Adrian (Ketisa) Hunt, Avery Hunt, Christopher (Alecia) Emanuel, and Angela (Jackie) Hunt; eleven great grandchildren Kayla (Tate) Young, Avery Hunt Jr, Bryleigh Hunt, Prestleigh Hunt, Carter Hunt, Ciarra (Dakota) Hunt, Jasmine Hunt, Jeremiah Hunt, Jackie Hunt Jr, and Ashley Emanuel; four great-great grandchildren Asher Tate Young, Scarlet Hunt, Adrian Emanuel, and Rylie Emanuel; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
