James Dial Obituary
James Alford “Syrup” Dial, 69, passed at Southeastern Regional Medical Center on July 14, 2020. He was born in Robeson County on March 11, 1951. He worked for many years as a brick mason.
His parents, were the late Charlie Spurgeon Dial and the late Trudie Mae Brooks Dial Oxendine; together they had ten children.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ms. Elizabeth Ruth Dial.
He is survived by a son, James Benny Dial; daughter, Sallie Mae Dial’ seven brothers, Charlie Dial (Gaynell), Robert Earl Dial (Carol) all of Shannon, NC., Bobby Dial, Ronnie Dial, Ricky Dial, Timothy Dial and Dwayne Dial; and one sister, Bonnie Dial Jones; and two grandchildren.
