Mr. James Curtis Scott 89 was born March 30, 1935, in Robeson County, NC, he departed this world for his heavenly home on January 18, 2025. He was the son of Mr. James Furman Scott and Girlene Clewis Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Scott (Mary). He leaves behind his daughter, Terri Ransom (Kent), Sharlene Scott-Glassman and son James Clifton Scott (Linda). Grandchildren: Megan Devin Moneyhun, Cynthia Glassman, Tiffany Stevens (Keith), Michael Christopher Scott (Thalia) and Matthew Scott. Great-grandchildren: Anthony Glassman, Brayden Stevens, Ocean Howard Glassman, Kiara "Kiki" Stevens, Sampson Munroe Marion, Augusta Jude Marion. Niece: Linda Lowry (Harvey). Nephew: Larry Scott.

James Curtis Scott was a farmer and worked in construction, he also served in the Army and attended Raynham Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing with his son and grandsons, golfing with his son and friends, and the most enjoyable moment for him was watching his grandsons play football. He loved his dog "Joe". He will be forever missed.
