Mr. Hubert Brooks Jr. of 79 Summer Lane Lumberton, NC was born October 11, 1949. He departed this life on March 9, 2024 making his journey of 74 years.
He was a deacon of Elizabeth Heights Baptist Church for 27 years and previously employed with Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Brooks Sr.and Mary Cummings Brooks; two brothers, Edward Brooks and Thurman Brooks; and one sister, Mollie Brooks.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patricia “Sally” Brooks; two sons, Robert Earl Brooks (Tammy) and Gregory Scott Brooks (Christie); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and in-laws; and a host of family and friends.
