Mr. Howell “Lynn” Wilcox 72 of Lumberton, NC passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at his home. He was born in Robeson County, NC on September 24, 1952, to the late Isley Wilcox and the late Pearl Lamb Wilcox.
Lynn will be remembered for his years of service at M & J Gas Company and his love for North Carolina Tarheel Basketball.
Lynn is preceded in death by his brothers, Ellis, Howard, David, and sister Pearl Marie Barkley.
He is survived by his siblings George Isley Wilcox (Joyce) of Lumberton and Janice Wilcox Bracey of Rowland. A host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family, especially, Wanda Ivey, Libby Deal, Paula Britt, Tasha Brooks, and Ivey Nolley.
