Howard Porter Obituary
Mr. Howard Porter, 92 was born July 26, 1927 and went home to be with the Lord June 21, 2019.
He was a member of Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church. Mr. Porter was retired from Freeman Motor Company.
Mr. Porter is preceded in death by his paternts, Richard and Orinda Porter; his wife of 29 years Lizzie J. Porter; a daughter, Carolyn Porter; five sisters, Cattie Mae Hunt, Blanche Hunt, Blonnie Mae Hunt and Hazel Ransom; one brother, Little Richard Porter; step daughter, Joyce K. Locklear; and step son, Tony Kerns.
Mr. Porter leaves to cherish his memory a son, Delton Ray Porter (Belinda), Howard Lorenzo Porter (Nicki); a stepson, Rev. Chalmers kerns (Shirley); brothers, Harold Porter and Robert Porter; 16 grandchildren, a great number of great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and family and friends.
