Mr. Herman Leo Smith (Boogie), 84, of Lumberton, NC was born January 8, 1941. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Herman is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Smith, mother, Girlie Mae Smith, and a brother Willie Smith.
He is survived by his sister, Peggy Brixey of Aberdeen, a brother Harold Smith and his wife Barbara, a sister-in-law, June Smith of Lumberton, NC, two nieces, Amanda Locklear and Teresa Grimberg, three nephews, Rodney Smith, Kenny Brixey, and Timmy Brixey, a special nephew, Clifford Smith, and a special friend Becky Hardin.
Mr. Herman was a compassionate, kindhearted man, and was loved by many.
