Mrs. Helen Elaine Melvin Locklear, 58, of Burch Road, Lumberton, NC, was born on November 20, 1962 and departed this life on December 1, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Melvin; father, Benny Melvin; one sister, Debbie Melvin; two brothers, Alan Melvin and Ricky Melvin; and one granddaughter, Misti Melvin.
Mrs. Melvin Locklear is survived by her Husband, Scottie Lynn Locklear of the home; one son, Bo Melvin (Renay) of the home; one daughter, Jamie Blue of Rowland; three grandchildren; Aubrey Melvin, Alyssa Schular, and Justice Jacobs; one sister, Peggy Rhinerson (Greg) from Indiana; two brothers, Mike Melvin (Gail) of Lumberton and Charlie Melvin (Vickie) of Pembroke; special daughter Heather Melvin and special son Antonio Melvin both of Lumberton and a host of relatives and friends.
