Helen Rose Burns, 62, of Lumberton, NC gained her heavenly wings, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on April 21, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie "Jack" and Ella Mae Hunt as well as her father-in-law, Rev. Billy Burns.
Helen Rose leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and faithful husband of 43 years, Rev. Billy Ray Burns of the home, two daughters, Rose Marie Burns-Blue (Lee), and Telisha Kaye Hunt of Lumberton, NC, two brothers, Tony Hunt and James (Linda) Hunt of Lumberton, NC, two sisters, Teisha (Joshua) Jernigan and Keisha (Mark) Deese of Lumberton, NC, six grandchildren, Gatlin, Gavin, Gazdin, Garrin, Galina, Garrasin Blue of Lumberton, NC, her mother in law, Mrs. Sarah Burns, and her nieces and nephews whom she loved and a host of relatives and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers: Nancy Locklear, Liberty Hospice Staff, Mrs. Sheila Marco, Allison Torres, Shelley Stephens, and Amy Strickland.
