Grace Jones Obituary
Ms. Grace H. Jones, 86, of 3311 Shannon Rd. of Shannon, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 30th, 2021.
Ms. Jones was born in Robeson County on January 25, 1935. She was a faithful member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church. She was employed as a cafeteria worker for 33 years at Piney Grove School.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Ervin Jones; parents, Johnnie and Flora Jane Harris; two brothers, Alford Duckery and Johnnie Harris Jr.; and a sister, Katherine Harris.
Ms. Jones is survived by four sons, James Jones (Lorna), Jackie Jones (Carlene) of Shannon, Billy Jones of Lumberton, Bobby Jones ( Traci) of Tallahassee, FL; three sisters, Gearldine Revels, Sally Huggins of Lumberton, NC. Carolyn Goins of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, James F. Harris of Lumberton, NC; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thanks to Liberty Hospice Staff and two special caregivers, Janice Locklear and Carlene Jones (daughter-in-law.)
