Geraldine Locklear

Mrs. Geraldine Locklear, 78, of Lumberton, NC, departed her life on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Robeson County May 2, 1947, to the late Make Locklear and Annie Ruth Maynor. She was the owner of Towne Florist for 33 great years. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Ann Locklear, her son, Stoney Ray Locklear, five brothers, Mr. Ray Locklear, Mr. Lewis Locklear, Mr. Joseph Locklear, Mr. Benford Locklear, Mr. Winford Locklear, six sisters, Barbara Ann Locklear, Mrs. Shirley Locklear, Ms. Lula Mae Locklear, Mrs. Edith Woodell, Mrs. Mary Jane Locklear, and Ms. Yvonne Emmanuel.

Mrs. Geraldine is survived by her loving husband, Johnnie Locklear, of fifty three years, four sons, Willie Locklear, Jr. of Lillington, Tony (Velissa) of Rowland, Johnny Ray (Hawhana) of Lumberton, Ronnie Lynn (Debra) of Lumberton, one daughter, Cynthia Vest of Lumberton, five brothers, Jackie Chavis of Michigan, Darnell (Helen) of Pembroke, Eugene of Lumberton, Jerry (Ellen) of Shannon, Bobby of Fayetteville, two sisters, Mrs. Linda Scott (Terry) of Red Springs, Ms. Joanna Maynor of Lumberton, eighteen grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
