Geraldine “Gerri” Farley, 83 of Lumberton, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Gerri was born In Robeson County, North Carolina on May 6, 1941; she is the daughter of the late Aaron Lucion Hunt, Sr. and Ader Mae Bell Hunt.

Gerri measured accomplishments and success by the love she had for God, her family, her baby grands, friends, Pastor Kenny Locklear and First Lady Sister Linda Locklear and Saddletree Church of God. She loved to entertain, travel, and the beach. Her professional accomplishments were secondary.

She is loved and survived by her children Wendy Maynor, Mitzi Locklear and Bobby Wesley Farley, Jr.; sisters Mary Cummings and Hattie Morgan; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Wesley Farley, Sr., son, Michael Joseph Farley; sisters, Lucille Carter, Grace Chavis, Dorothy McGee, Mertice Hammonds, Mildred Pevia, Patricia Noethen; brothers, Aaron Lucion “Bud” Hunt, Jr and James Maxwell Hunt; grandsons Michael DeKota Farley and Kane Nehemiah Farley.
