George Thomas Devine
Obituary
Mr. George Thomas Devine, 85, born September 24, 1937, in Baltimore, MD, relocated to Saint Pauls, NC and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Devine, and Ethel Boyer, and a special loved nephew, Ryan Lee Kerr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 42 years, Glennis McNeill Devine; his sister, Catherine Devine (Trescott); and brother-in-law, James McNeill. Also, his beloved dogs they were his world, and a host of family and friends.
He was retired military (1978) and attended Robeson Community College for the School for Police, he retired from Robeson County Sheriff Dept. & was also a Correctional officer for the prison system. He was a member of St. Francis De Sales Church since the year 1995 until his death. He was a humble, caring person that loved everyone. He will be greatly missed. He wasn’t a father of his own, but he was a father to many and friend to all.
