He was preceded in death by both his parents, Brother-in-Laws Anker Ole Bell, Sr. and Bruce Locklear and his sisters Gail Denise Pate-Vega and Sherry Ann Pate.
Left to cherish his memory are two brothers, Virgil Lowry (wife Lena Bell) and Terry Dale Pate; four sisters, Sandra Faye Pate-Bell, Mary Juanita Pate-Hardin (husband Elwood), Deloris Kaye Pate-Oxendine (husband George), Debra Sue Pate-Locklear; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
