Mr. Garry Dean Chavis Jr, of Pembroke, NC was born on January 22, 1975. He departed this life at the age of 50 0n July 21, 2025.

Dean was preceded in death by his father Garry Dean Chavis Sr, his maternal grandparents, Charlie F. and Clella Locklear and his paternal grandparents Talmadge and Annie Ruth Chavis.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his two children Julius and Jules McCall of Fayetteville, N.C. His mother Joyce Ramona Ward, one brother Dwayne Chavis (Christy), of Pembroke N.C., a sister Mariah Eubanks (Austin) of Wilmington, and a host of family and friends.

He attended Purnell Swett High School, loved spending time with his family and friends, and riding motorcycles.
