Obituary
Fredford Oxendine “Ray” was born in Scotland County on September 6th, 1955, and departed his life on May 20th, 2023, to his eternal home. He is preceded in death by his father, Levi Oxendine; mother, Earbell Oxendine; sister, Olivia Oxendine, and brother, Jack Lewis Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Lora Oxendine of the home; four kids, Joey and Jennifer Oxendine, Fredrick and Crystal Oxendine, Tammy and Karl Cummings, and Corey Oxendine; ten grandkids; four great grandkids; and eight sisters and three brothers, Emily Oxendine of Rowland, Kasion and Alex Jones of Rennert, Vicky and Ronnie Jones of Rowland, Levi and Teresa Oxendine of Maxton, Smitty Oxendine and Averdale of Maxton, Ashley and Rita Oxendine of Maxton, Judy and Donnie West of Rowland, Michelle Oxendine and Kevin of Gibson, Angela Brooks and Frankie of Rennert, Kathy and Ronnie Oxendine of Maxton, and Cynthia Clark of Shannon.
His job title was a rigger for 20 years and landscaping. He also loved to go riding horses on Sundays. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a God-fearing man.
