Franklin “Del” Cooper, 72 of Rowland, North Carolina, was born February 27, 1953, to the late Franklin Delano Cooper and Myra Joyce Seawell Cooper. He passed away Monday, August 04, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Allen, and his son-in-law, Mickey Hardin. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 43 years Sandra Kline Cooper; three children, Danielle Wilkins, Chad Cooper (Shelly) and James Cooper (Heather); two brothers, Jeffery Cooper (Denise) and Charles Cooper; two sisters, Grace Cooper (Leslie) and Katlyn Locklear; five grandsons, Jeremiah, Kasey, Bryce, CJ, Jamie; four granddaughters Stella, Jana, Aubrey, and Hannah; a very special niece Myranda Hanna; his long time companion Otis, along with a host of other family and friends.
