Franklin H. Callahan, 74, of Lumberton NC passed away at home on April 7, 2024. He was born in Lumberton NC on December 26, 1949. The son of the late Franklin Callahan and Omie Hill Callahan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Sarah D. Callahan; brother, Billy R. Callahan; sister, Kay Smith; son in law, Carlton Britt Jr; maternal grandparents, Lyde and Sallie Hill; paternal grandparents, Beechie and Lillian Callahan.
He is survived by daughter, Ladoska Britt (late Carlton Britt Jr); daughter, Frankie Williamson (Ken); son, Franklin Scott Callahan; grandchildren, Lauren Head (Jeffrey), Zachary Britt, Isaac Williamson, Andrew "AJ" Williamson (Ashley) and Kaylan Britt; great grandchildren, Salah Head, Beckett Williamson, Jeffrey Luke Head and Hendrixx Williamson; three sisters, Maggie Overstreet, Renda Ranager and Kathy McCoin; as well as many nieces and nephews.
