Floyd Jones

  Floyd (Shorty) Ray Jones born November 27, 1946 to the late Hugh Barnet and Reba Strickland Jones in Robeson County went to his heavenly home on October 29, 2919. He was a master craftsman, building cabinets for over 40 years. He loved old cars, puzzles and reading his bible before his stroke. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren.

  Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his former wife, Yvonne Hammonds; brothers, Herman Jones, Barney Pap Jones and Glen Ray Jones; sisters, Josephine Strickland and Patricia Powell; Great Grandson, Kayden Jones.

  He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children, Beverly Jones Zabitosky, Stephanie Jones Smith, Eddie Floyd Jones Jr., Nanette Jones, Wayne Hunt (Helen) and Christa Caamano (Miguel); 24 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren; sisters, Christine Locklear (Ransom), Earline Moses, Vera Lee Locklear (Grady) and Phyllis Sheilds (Joe). Brothers, Ronald Jones (Anita) and Jimmy Jones.

  Former wife of 18 years and mother of his children, Brenda Locklear, Former Wife, Susan Worriax. Friends, Mary and Larry Broome and lifelong friend, Mary Ann and Marshall Wynn. Survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
