Ethan Ray Hunt of Lumberton, was born April 21, 2006 in Robeson County. He departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington, NC making his journey 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his Aunt Jessica Oxendine, cousin, Breanna Scott, Father, Quintin Fields, great grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Mangidmell.

Ethan attended Littlefield Middle School and Lumberton High School. He loved playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends. Ethan touched so many lives by his smile and caring, loving personality.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Courtney Oxendine and Kevin Oxendine of the home, four sisters, Alexis Fields, Destiny Wynn, Jakayla Lewis, and Jahonna Chavis, of the home, his maternal grandmother, Linda Locklear (Jerry) of Maxton, his maternal grandfather, Timothy Ray Hunt of Lumberton, seven aunts, Christy (Jason Sanchez) of Lumberton, Latisha of Florida, Chelsea (Xazier Alas) of Italy, Hillary of Maxton, Misty of Maxton, Diana (Josh Oxendine) of Charlotte, Cecelia of Lumberton, and three uncles, Timothy Hunt of Lumberton, Stephen of Lumberton, Corey of Lumberton, and a special friend, Montrell Griffin and a host of cousins and friends.
