Emma Jane Locklear

Mrs. Emma J. Locklear was born March 26th, 1943, to the late Mr. Marvin and Mrs. Mertice Locklear. Mrs. Emma J. Locklear departed this life into the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ, to join her loved ones on March 10th, 2024. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Mr. Ronald Locklear.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: Mrs. Patricia Locklear (James) of Maxton, NC; Mr. Donald Locklear (Carol) of Rowland, NC; Mr. Willie E. Locklear (Rita) of Rowland, NC; Mr. Luther E. Locklear of Pembroke, NC; Ms. Barbara Locklear of Lumberton, NC; Mr. Ricky Locklear of Rowland, NC. She was the first of 12 children.

Mrs. Emma J. Locklear leaves behind 23 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian to a loving GOD. Her life revolved around GOD and her family. She was a loving a caring mother to her children. In her children’s eyes she was the BEST MOTHER in the world, a pillar in her church, and loved by many. She sang in the choir and was a devoted member to her church. To her friends she was considered one of the BEST.
