Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and most importantly child of God. She loved with all of her heart. She was full of life and as sassy as they come, she didn’t pull any punches and was not afraid to speak her mind. She raised her kids, helped raise her siblings, grandkids, nieces and nephews. She was the disciplinarian but did so with love. You didn’t come to her house and leave hungry if she could help it. From rolled out chicken and pastry to homemade pound cakes and tater tarts she would make sure there was something good on the table. She was “granny” to the community, “the boss” or “sassy” to her children and grandchildren and “Nora” to her siblings. No matter what she was called she always responded with love. Her presence is already missed and will be felt until we are all together again. Take her life as an example and love whole heartedly, live life to the fullest and show the love of Jesus to all that you meet.
