Eleanor (Scott) Bell

Mrs. Eleanor Scott Bell, 80, of St. Pauls, NC was born July 24, 1942, and passed away May 26, 2023, at home. Mrs. Bell was born to the late Robert Ford Scott and Rosia Burnette Scott.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jason Bell; one granddaughter, Mallory Grace Hernandez; three brothers, Robert Earl Scott (Martha), Thomas Scott, and Larry Scott (Cynthia); two sisters, Edna Scott and Carolyn Scott; a nephew, Chad Scott; and three nieces, Kimberly Rose Scott, Jamie Scott, and Maggan Scott.

    She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 52 years, Travis Bell; her son, Travis “Andy” Bell (Brandy); a daughter, Melody Hernandez; two grandsons, Braydon Bell and Jaydon Bell; two granddaughters, Zoe Hernandez and Skylar Hernandez, and their father, Joseph Hernandez; one brother, Terry Scott (Connie); two sisters-in-law, Jane Scott and Gloria Locklear Scott; her Uncle Horace Burnette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and Liberty Hospice Staff.

     She was a devoted Christian and she made that her Life’s work. She was a member of Liberty Holiness Church. Even from a wheelchair or a hospital bed she wouldn’t complain and would always say she was blessed and would encourage anyone that called or visited her. She was really one of a kind, a rare Gem.
