Edna Brewer

     Edna Lee Brewer, 65 of Rowland, departed this life on January 3, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital. She was born March 2, 1955 to Lacy and Sarah Hunt.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Lacy Hunt Jr.; brothers, Donnie Hunt and Bruce Hunt; a niece, Cabrina Cummings; and a brother-in-law, Martin Oxendine.

   She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her mother; her husband of 48 years, Ernest “Darnell” Brewer; her daughters, Alicia Brewer (Reginald), Christine Young (Ron), and Lawanda Chavis (Greg); grandchildren, Sean Michael Emanuel (Sarah), Alexandria Locklear (Shawn), Brandon Brewer, Kyra Young, and Rhylon Young; bonus grandchildren, Ceslie Oxendine and Ryan Young; great-grandchildren, Ellie Emanuel and Shawn (SJ) Locklear; bonus great-grandchildren, Konner Oxendine, Rayleigh Young, and Ada Oxendine; sisters, Bonnie Cummings (Lacy) and Connie Oxendine; brother, Roger Hunt; and a host of relatives and friends.
