Mr. Edmond Locklear III, 70, of Gene Road, Pembroke was born February 11, 1956, to the late Edmond Locklear Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Locklear. He departed this life March 13, 2026, at his home.
Mr. Locklear served 13 years as a SGT in the U.S. Army. He then transitioned to working security at various establishments where he retired after 40 years. During retirement he enjoyed shopping and spoiling his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robert N. Locklear and one sister Tracy A. Locklear.
Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Rebecca J. Locklear; three daughters Genney (Michael) Cochran, Alicia (Josh) Hunt, and Nikie (Christopher) Locklear; nine grandchildren Michael Jr. (Leslie), Nidara, Dannell, Khole, Christopher Avery, Meleny, Edwin, Noah, Joslyn, Jada; one brother Eric (Jennifer) Locklear; two sisters Elizabeth (Craig) Locklear and Terri (Van) McLean; three nieces Terriel, Mary-Riley, and Rhonda; three nephews Craig Anthony, Elon, and Van Jr. along with a host of friends and relatives.
