Obituary
Edith L. Locklear, age 70, of Lumberton was born March 2, 1953 and went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude and P.H. Locklear; a son, Horace Lee Locklear; four brothers, Hubert, Hewie, Lloyd and Buddy Locklear, Florance.
Edith is survived by her loving husband, S.L. Locklear of 52 years; sons, Thomas Sampson, Little Thomas, Addie (Jimmy) and Haley Locklear; one sister, Linda (Gregory) Locklear; one brother, Lloyd (Brenda) Locklear; one sister-in-law, Peggy; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Edith was a member of Body of Christ Church for 10 years. Edith was blessed with a host of nieces, nephew-in-laws and friends and family.
