Dustin Ryan Revels

Mr. Dustin Ryan Revels, age 32, of 304 Barber Shop Rd. Lumberton, NC was born on February 5, 1991, and departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

     He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mr. Carl Oxendine and his paternal grandfather, Mr. Robert Revels; his paternal great grandparents: Mr. Harvey Revels and Mrs. Gladys Revels.

     Mr. Revels is survived by his mother, Mrs. Tammy Sessoms; his maternal grandmother, who was also like a mother to him, Shari Hitchens; his father, Mr. Robbie Revels; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Brenda Jones; he was also blessed to have two step-fathers, one he grew up with, Mr. Adam Hunt and one as an adult, Mr. Christopher Sessoms; four brothers, Mr. Ronnie Hunt, Mr. Joshua Hunt, Mr. Jorden Revels, and Mr. Charlie Locklear; one sister, Autumn Revels; four uncles, Mr. Shawn Revels, Mr. Eric Butler, and he was raised in the home with his uncles, Mr. Carl Oxendine and Mr. David Oxendine; and one aunt, Mrs. Wanda Ventura. He had four special nephews that meant the world to him, Liam Hunt, Levi Brooks, Logan Brooks, and Owen Hunt; he had two special people in his life that were like aunts to him, Mrs. Lanette Locklear and Ms. Melissa Hill; and a host of other family and friends.

     Dustin was often referred to as having a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back to help you without question.   He loved working on his computer and his eBay business. He cherished his four nephews, like they were his own. He had two other special loves of his life, his two Husky’s, Bear and Aspin. He could drive his mother and grandmother crazy, but all that he had to do was come to them with that sneaky grin and they would do anything to make him happy. Dustin was a treasure to his family, and he will be greatly missed and loved always.
